Create fashion designs on flat figures through collage and professionally mount on poster board.

Oct 4: Basic intro to the sewing machine
Practice basic sewing skills through construction of simple tote bag.

Oct 18: Intro to drawing the 10 head fashion figure
Learn basic anatomy and draw fashion figure and poses.

Nov 1: Invisible zippers and couture buttonholes
Learn the tricks to setting in invisible zippers as well as sewing couture button holes.

Nov 15: De-Construct Re-Construct Fashion
Recycle your out of style clothing or thrift store picks into new fashionable styles.

Dec 6: Embellishments
Embellish pre-existing garments or SAORI woven fabric with beads, embroidery,

04 Independent Study
Thursdays 4pm-7pm
Work on your own design or sewing project through guidance of instructor. We can discuss duration of study according to the difficulty of the project.
